What is Arctic15?

Arctic15 is the most effective startup-investor conference in Northern Europe. The goal of the event is to look beneath the surface of a business event. Arctic15 enables quality networking, fostering of meaningful relationships and real returns on investment. With the right size, the right people and a focus on meaningful networking, our 15 Principles ranging from Equality and Personal Responsibility to Presence and Quality help get the most out of the event.

Who can attend?

Startups, scaleups, investors, large corporations, service providers, startup ecosystem supporters, influencers, media, & anyone with a valid ticket are welcome. In 2022, we had 1500+ participants, 120+ speakers, 550+ startups and scaleups, 500+ VCs, angel investors, and CVCs and 150+ corporations & media representatives from 60 countries.

How to get to the Venue

Do you have food and drinks at the event?

Yes! Ticket-holders are entitled to gourmet food which Arctic15 is known for. The Food Area provides breakfast and lunch which garner high ratings each year. Expect something delicious and nothing less! Coffee is provided throughout the day. You can grab something fast and easy. No waiting in lines!

Where can I find out about the programme?

Please, find the program for this year here. It focuses on industries, technologies and hot topics, such as Health, Fintech, AI+ Data, Deep Tech, Foodtech, Saas, Impact, Growth, Exit and Healthtech. Tracks consist of stage programmes with keynotes, chats and panels, workshops, networking sessions and meetings in the Deal Room.

Can I get the list of attendees (startups/investors etc.)?

Unfortunately no, due to the GDPR we can not share a list of attendees or details of any company, but If you buy tickets you will find them all on our matchmaking platform DealRoom.

Will the sessions be live streamed?

The event will not be live streamed but the programme will be captured on video.

How do I find the event on social media?

Use hashtag #Arctic15  and keep up with our updates on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.

How can I sign up for the workshops?

Workshop registration will commence closer to the event date under the Deal Room service and you will also be invited via email. If you want to host a workshop, contact us at hello@arcticstartup.com

How can I become a partner or sponsor of the event?

Contact our Partnership Team (partnerships@arcticstartup.com), Theys will build the perfect package for you.

Where can I pick up my badge and wristband?

A badge and wristband are required for you to attend Arctic15. So, to minimize waiting time at the event venue, we strongly advise you to collect your badge and wristband in advance at our Pre-Badge Claim point.

This year, our Pre-Badge Claim point is located at Maria01 (Lapinlahdenkatu 16, Helsinki) and you can get claim your badge & wristband on Tuesday 30.5. at 17.00-19.00.

Will I be able to secure personal belongings somewhere in the venue?

There will be a cloakroom available for all attendees so they can hang their coats, cloaks or other outerwear. Unfortunately, there is no designated storage area for bigger personal belongings at the conference venue (like luggage, for example).

Is your event carbon natural?

Yes it is. Last year, we compensated all the carbon emissions that occurred during the event with our partnership with Puuni Oy. You can find the certificate HERE.

Tickets

How can I get a ticket?

You can buy your ticket here. There are Startup, Investor and Attendee tickets, as well as Media Accreditation. As a startup, you can also buy a Demo Stand Package which includes two Startup tickets.

What is included in the ticket price?

You get access to the event on both days. Gourmet food and coffee are included in the price.  Also, Value added tax – VAT is included (same as a concert, a game or theatre)

Can I transfer my ticket to another person?

Yes. You can simply go to your personal ticket link that you have received in an e-mail upon registration and re-assign it there. Take note that if you have already filled out the whole form and gained access to the Deal Room networking service, your account in Deal Room gets deactivated after the ticket change. The new ticket holder will get an invitation to join Deal Room. If any help is needed, please email us at hello@arcticstartup.com or about Deal Room at astrid.aalto@dealroomevents.com.

Can I buy a ticket now and choose the name of the person later?

Yes. You can abandon the form creation process after you have created the ticket and then return to it using the ticket link that you received in your e-mail to fill out the details.

Can I get a refund if I am not able to attend?

Unfortunately not, but you can transfer the ticket to someone else. Click here for Terms and Conditions.

Can I pay less if I only attend one day of the conference?

Your ticket is valid for both days of the conference. There are no one-day tickets available.

How can I get my receipt?

Once you buy the ticket you will receive an email with some information about the event. The subject of the email is “Your Arctic15 Helsinki 2023 Confirmation & Receipt” (if you did not receive it in your main inbox, please, make sure to check the spam folder).

If you scroll down to the bottom of that email, after “summary” you will be able to find the “view receipt” button, beside “view order”. You can add information such as billing address and tax information to your receipt in that same link.

Can I pay with an Invoice instead of a Credit Card?

Yes, you can. There will be a plus 30€ +vat administration fee added to your invoice per ticket. Send us your invoicing details like your Company name and VAT number (if you don’t have a company, send your Full name), Address, and email to send your invoice. Also, you may send us your electronic invoicing details if you have them.

Can I get one ticket for all of our team?

No, each ticket is assigned to an individual person.

Deal Room & Matchmaking

What is the Deal Room and how can I book a meeting?

Matchmaking and networking are the core of Arctic15. The Deal Room networking service allows you to enhance your networking and meeting experience. The platform enables you to screen other attendees and has 20-minute meetings with them. The platform will be opened closer to the event date. Read more about the Deal Room here.

Who can I meet?

You can meet startups, scaleups, speakers, investors, corporation representatives and other tech ecosystem players.

How much time do I have for one meeting?

One meeting will be approximately 20 minutes.

What if I can not attend the meeting?

If you are not able to attend the meeting, you can cancel or reschedule it using the matchmaking tool.

Event Partners and Sponsors

Can I get a booth?

Yes, and we are happy to discuss different ideas on how to make it a real magnet at the event. Contact Partnerships Team (partnerships@arcticstartup.com).

What kind of visibility do I get at the event?

At the minimum, you will get visibility through roll-ups and on the screens. Also, we can create logo visibility almost anywhere – booths, lanyards, stages, walls, flags and in programme content. We will find the right kind of presence for your brand and depending on your needs, find the right way to connect with other attendees, startups, investors, or corporates.

What kind of visibility do I get before the event?

You will get visibility on the event website and in articles, press releases and social media channels.

Can I arrange personal meetings with potential partners?

Absolutely – our Deal Room service will allow you to filter for and prearrange meetings with all participants.

How efficient is this event?

In the last event, we arranged 13000+ meetings in two days.

Workshops

Where can I sign up for workshops?

Closer to the event you will find workshops on our A15 webpage and in our Deal Room service. You can sign up over Deal Room by going directly to the Deal Room service or choose your workshop on the A15 webpage which will link you to the Deal Room service.

Where can I purchase a workshop slot for me to host a workshop?

How long will a workshop last?

Each workshop will last 1 hour.

How big will the workshop be?

All rooms fit up to 50 people.

Will there be electricity and WIFI?

Yes, you will get a wifi pass at the venue.

How can I get a media pass?

Will there be a silent space for me to work?

Who do I talk to if I want an interview with the speakers?

Scheduling interviews at Arctic15 is eezi-peezi. You are in control of your own time and schedule. All interviews can be agreed upon and scheduled well in advance via our matchmaking tool Deal Room.
