Şelale Zaim Gorton is a member of the Board of Directors at Gorton İnci Holding and Maxion İnci. In addition to this role, she serves as the Chairman of the Investment Committee of Vinci Venture Capital, an entity invested by İnci Holding, and is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of İnci Family Office, which provides support services to families in investments and asset management. She is also a Board Member of the Turkey Technology Development Foundation.

During her tenure at Garanti Investment Private Equity division, she played a role in the establishment of two funds totaling 100 and 400 million dollars. Prior to that, she worked in the finance sector with Hayes Lemmerz, the world’s largest wheel manufacturer, and Towerview Capital, a U.S.-based private equity fund.

Şelale Zaim Gorton also has experience in the healthcare sector and business management, having worked at University of Michigan Hospitals, Acıbadem Health Group, and Mentor Corporation, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson.

Born in 1982, Şelale Zaim Gorton is a graduate of Istanbul American Robert College. She completed her undergraduate studies in Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan in 2003, earned an MBA with a focus on Finance and Strategy from UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2009, and completed the Private Wealth Management program at Wharton Executive Education in 2014.

In December 2010, she earned the Certified Financial Accountant (CFA) Level 1 designation. She also holds an Advanced License from the Capital Markets Board and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. She served as a member of the İnci Family Council from 2011 to 2021 and as the President of the Family Assembly from 2013 to 2015. Şelale Zaim Gorton, who resides between London and Izmir, is married and has one son.
