Maria Wasastjerna is the Managing Partner of Kvanted Ventures, a Helsinki-based venture capital fund focusing exclusively on industrial technology. Kvanted invests in early-stage companies in Northern Europe developing new software, hardware and service solutions, with a mission of accelerating the industrial transformation. Before transitioning into venture capital, Maria was an attorney and business lawyer for more than 15 years, working with technology, M&A and digital markets. Her previous experience spans across the corporate, regulatory and startup space alike, having been a law firm partner, Nokia lawyer, and general counsel at an adtech startup, providing unique perspectives to support startups in navigating the opportunities and challenges in the industrial sector. With a PhD on digital competition, Maria is particularly interested in data-driven ventures.
