Pierre Planche is a Partner at Griffin Gaming Partners, a leading venture capital firm focused on the gaming sector.
Prior to venture investing, Pierre led software development teams as a Product leader. He brings over a decade of investment, corporate development (M&A), and product expertise.
Tangential to gaming, Pierre has also invested in various emerging startups in consumer and social. In close partnership with Griffin, he helped form and is a committee member of Game7, a $500M initiative funding research, education, and grants to advance the adoption of blockchain and emerging technologies in gaming.
Pierre was an All-American and NCAA Finalist tennis player. As an avid gamer, Pierre also competed in esports. His other passions include playing Magic: The Gathering, backcountry skiing, and automotive racing.
