Thomas Höglund is an entrepreneur, roboticist, and doctoral researcher from Vaasa, Finland. He has expertise in business, robotics, electronics, embedded systems, mechanical design, and machine learning, and focuses on solving real-world problems through technology.
He leads four companies: Done Robotics (healthcare service robots), Understandify (interpretation app), Done Enterprises (startup factory), and Done Technologies (service marketplace).
With an entrepreneurial background linked to KWH Group, he built his own path across engineering fields including robotics, plastics, drones, and software. He is completing a PhD on multisensory mixed reality for telerobotics and has published research on human-robot interaction and energy harvesting. He also studied service robot adoption in Japan.
In his personal life, Thomas balances his ambitious professional journey with joyful time spent with his three children. He enjoys teaching a blend of martial arts, singing, building gadgets, learning new languages, and dreaming up his next big venture.
