Simone Ross is TED’s Tech Curator. A content strategist with a background in high-level content curation, Simone has been an active observer of the companies, individuals, and ideas at the intersection of technology, the economy and society for over 20 years. She focuses on designing substantive programs and conversations that connect the people and ideas at the intersection of technology and progress, and explore the applications and implications of that tech on how we work, live and play.
As the cofounder and chief program officer of Techonomy Media she was responsible for all program content and served as executive producer for the Techonomy conferences. Prior to Techonomy, she was program director for FORTUNE’s conference division. Before joining Fortune, she was director of operations at the Computerworld Smithsonian Information Technology Awards Program, a non-profit endeavor that helped the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History chronicle the information age revolution. Simone regularly advises companies on their content and conference strategy.
