Pauliina Meskanen is the Co-Founder & CEO of Calectra, a thermal storage startup electrifying and cutting costs of process heating up to 1600°C for industries like cement, steel, and chemicals. Calectra is backed by the US Department of Energy, the States of California and New York, Lifeline Ventures, and Antti Herlin’s family office.
Before co-founding Calectra, Pauliina built a consultancy and newsletter on hardware energy innovation (Survivaltech.club), was an investor in Nordic VC funds (Lifeline Ventures, Inventure, Wave Ventures), and the fourth employee at a health tech startup (Kaiku Health).
