Titanor is developing one of the most advanced titanium-bearing raw material, ilmenite projects in the European Union, located in central Finland. Based on extensive exploration and technical studies, the project aims to strengthen Europe’s security of supply for critical titanium-bearing raw materials. Titanor could supply in production approximately 10% of the EU’s current titanium material demand. The project is strategically positioned to support Europe’s growing demand for critical raw materials used in pigments, advanced manufacturing, energy, and defense applications.
Titanor’s co-founder and CEO, Mikko Sopanen, combines extensive mining industry experience with a strong background in corporate finance, , startups, and growth companies. Prior to Titanor, he held senior finance and leadership positions in mining companies including Endomines and Sotkamo Silver.
