Mikael is the founder & CEO of Supermetrics. In 2009, Mikael was working as a web analyst, and he was looking to get rid of manual data transfer work. He became the first person to successfully connect the newly launched Google Analytics API with Excel, and the story of Supermetrics began. Mikael worked alone until 2016 when he hired Supermetrics’ first employee. Supermetrics brings data from 100+ marketing and sales tools and platforms into spreadsheets, visualization tools, and data warehouses.
The company has grown rapidly in the last few years and is expected to be one of the next Finnish unicorns. It has 260 employees and 17,000+ customers in over 120 countries and plans to double the employee headcount by the end of the year. 15% of global online ad spend is reported using Supermetrics products. In a world where all businesses must use data, Supermetrics’ mission is to make data simpler, productive, and more connected so that the working world can be more productive and less chaotic.
