Jonathan is an experienced lawyer who focuses on venture capital investments and has assisted numerous Finnish startups and growth companies as well as domestic and foreign venture capital investors in financing rounds. In addition to venture capital, Jonathan also advises on a broad range of other corporate and M&A transactions, including private equity deals, debt financing transactions and fund formation, and on general corporate law matters as well as day-to-day matters of startups and growth companies.
Jonathan is a sought-after trainer on topics related to venture capital investments and startups and speaks regularly at various incubators/accelerators and trainings as well as events such as Slush. Jonathan is also the author of the first Finnish handbook on VC investments “Venture capital -sijoitukset – käsikirja rahoituskierroksille” (2021).
