Syndicates
This year at Arctic15 we aim to form multiple angel investor syndicates that can invest in any of the attending startups. The finalists of the pitching competition, as well as other outstanding startups, will be considered and screened by all of our lead angels. In case the match between the startup and lead angel is found, the lead can start building the syndicate through Arctic15 immediately.
For the first time ever there will be more than just one syndicate at Arctic15!
What is an angel syndicate?
A group of experienced angel investors investing together in a startup that they all find promising.
Why are angel syndicates good for startups?
Usually, angel investors are more than just a source of money. They can bring for example knowledge and contacts to the startups they are investing in. By having a group of angel investors, there will be even more money, knowledge and contacts available in order to scale the company to the next level.
What’s the reason for having more than just one syndicate at Arctic15 2020?
By creating many syndicates, we aim to get a diverse group of lead angels to get a more diverse group of startups funded. Also, we want to create better matches between the syndicates and startups, especially now that the Covid-19 has made random encounters harder.
