Welcome to the FoodTech Track by EIT FAN Helsinki in 2020. The fact you ended up here means that you’re beyond curious about the business opportunities in connection with the food industry and by that you’re actively taking part in food innovation.
The future of food has been receiving stronger and stronger emphasis over the past years. Inefficiencies of animal agriculture, water pollution or soil desertification have challenged the possibility to sustainably feed the expected population of 9.7 billion people by 2050.
The Food-Tech Track by EIT Food Finland will focus on opportunities by a shared mission to transform the Nordic food system, so as to have a neutral or positive impact on the environment.
The FoodTech Track will provide guidance for startups and investors on how to exploit opportunities and scale up businesses through the lens of global trends.
