Angel Track
For the first time ever at Arctic15 there will be a track dedicated for angel investors. Angel Track by Helsinki Business Hub includes a pitching competition, opportunity to join or lead one or more angel syndicates, attend angel workshops as well as listen to the present-day stage discussions related to for example:
- cross-border investing
- co-investing
- valuations & exits
- from entrepreneur to angel
- tools for remote investing
- early-stage investor mindset

This year at Arctic15 there’s a possibility to lead or join an angel syndicate. Instead of a one syndicate investing in the pitching competition winner, we aim to form multiple syndicates that are given the opportunity to invest in any of the attending startups.
It’s all about finding the right match:
- With a diverse group of experienced lead angels, we aim to create multiple syndicates to get a more diverse group of startups to apply to the pitching competition
- The multi-syndicate model has been built to better match the syndicates and the startups
- We will give you exclusive financial information of the startups and this way you can get acquainted with the startups beforehand
- By having multiple syndicates we offer you to learn & discuss with other experienced angel investors
- No financial commitments beforehand – the event is acting as a stepping stone for syndicates to kickoff and negotiations start when a match is found
Interested in leading a syndicate?
Contact us and we will add you as one of the lead angels at Arctic15 2020. First off, we will connect you with the other lead angels and potential co-investors that would like to join a syndicate. You will also be given exclusive information and analyses of the different startups competing in the pitching competition. As the lead angel you will be in charge of creating your own syndicate. We will assist you with facilitating the syndicate and in every other possible way.
