Teddie Wardi Partner at Atomico
Teddie is a Partner at Atomico, based in London, working on sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and due diligence of new investment opportunities.
He focuses on SaaS, IoT and AI/machine learning investments and works on several Atomico portfolio companies including Truecaller, Klarna and Quid, and sits on the board of Bitmovin, Scandit and Pipedrive.
Teddie joined Atomico from Dawn Capital, a SaaS and FinTech focused venture capital fund, where he was a Vice President. He focused on early stage investments in enterprise software companies and led investments including Showpad, Collibra, LeadDesk, Conversocial and Automile.
Prior to becoming a venture investor, Teddie was the co-founder and CTO of Nervogrid, a leading SaaS based cloud service marketplace and management platform. At Nervogrid he grew the company to over 50 employees in five countries, built the technology platform and organization, and raised multiple rounds of funding. Nervogrid was acquired in 2014 by ALSO, Europe’s largest IT distributor that is listed on the Swiss stock exchange.
Teddie holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.Sc. from Aalto University in Helsinki, where he focused on Finance and Computer Science. As an eight year old boy, Teddie taught himself to program in Basic and C, and growing up in Finland, he developed his English vocabulary by playing lots of Police Quest on his Atari.
